Black or white? Egyptian immigrant fights for black classification

This is an old article(1997) but i just stumbled on it. Just another example of how insane the US governmnet really is...It starts..... 'DETROIT (CNN) -- An Egyptian immigrant is suing the U.S. government because they've told him he's white when his entire life he's been black.'

Learn about your Afrikan Heritage/Yourself - Sebai Dr Muata Ashby

Why can't most dancehall artists teach you about your history ou about your divine nature?

Read Egyptian Yoga by Sebai Dr Muata Ashby and learn how to bring forth the hidden powers of GOD within youself to the foreround of your life....Your ancestors knew how and now so can we by studying their teachings.

Perhaps you should take a break form getting drunk every weekend at the "all white and blue-and pink-sports jacket-polo shirt and short shorts affair" and try to elevate your consciousness to the higher parts of your spirit by meditating, reading and by learning what was taught to us over 10,000 years ago B.C.

Top Acts Join Forces

Two reggae acts, currently on top of their game, havecome together to create magic on screen. Queen Ifrica, affectionately called the "fyah muma", riding high ona number of hit songs which include "Below the Waist"and "Daddy Don't Touch Me There", and Steele the everenergetic and charismatic artist with hits such as"Slave Driver" and "Confession", have put their heartand soul into bringing to life their current duet "NewWorld (remix)" The different passions that this songbrings out are displayed on screen and there is nomystery as to why this music video is already creatingquite a buzz. Shot mostly at the fishing village inPortmore Jamaica, where it seemed as though the entirecommunity came out to support these artists, it was aday that was filled with genuine togetherness from all.

Montreal International Reggae Festival 2007 REVIEW

Montreal International Reggae Festival received high marks for a well organized show, from the free events to the main events. We can’t comment on the Friday and Sunday show, however, the people we interviewed gave us a positive feed back about those two nights. Saturday was a spectacular for us. We arrived at the relaxing revenue Old Port of Montreal about 2 pm. Got familiar with the place and the people then we went to work; covering the 4th Annual Montreal Reggae Festival. The free show kick-off first, about 400 meters from the main Stage. The Montréal audience got right into supporting these up coming Canadian artists. Acts like Humble, Empire Isis and more. They set the mood for the acts to come.

What's happening people. It's time for a update and i think i'm going to be using this format which is very similar to our old site's style. I think you may like it a bit more.. maybe we'll post a poll to see.
Anyway it looks like summer is upon us and sure way to identify summer is the starting of the festival season here in Canada/North America. If you are able to be in Canada mid July then you need to be at the MONTREAL REGGAE FESTIVAL JULY 13,14 and 15TH
Torontodancehall will be there in case you can't make it so stay tuned for all the coverage after the festival. But if you live in the Tdot you should take the drive out to MTL and check out the festival. We were there the first year and it was large then so this year it should be huge with act like BLACK UHURU, THIRD WORLD, LUCIANO, KYMANI MARLEY,ADMIRAL BAILEY, TURBULENCE, STEELE and many more artists.
